Dear Friends and Colleagues,
It is our honor and pleasure to welcome you to Israel's 18th MIXiii-BIOMED Conference and Exhibition here in
Tel Aviv.
The common definition of Healthcare is the field concerned with the maintenance or restoration of the health
of the body and mind. Yet, for generations we have been using the term healthcare to describe “sickcare”.
During the MIXiii-BIOMED 2019 conference, we will expand the definition and focus on The Full Spectrum of
Healthcare: From Prevention to Rehabilitation and Everything in Between.
In past conferences, we have dealt with diagnosis, monitoring and treatment domains, and we will continue
to do so this year as well. However, in addition, we will expand the scope and range of topics to explore trends
and innovations that are shaping the future of the healthcare system to its full extent.
In all topics we will feature Medical Device, Biopharma, Digital Health and Diagnosis where appropriate. Fields
to be included:

We are encouraged by the new trend, practiced primarily in wealthy countries, of shifting clinical care from
cure to prevention. Today's, therapies and technologies often extend patients’ lives, however, without
commensurate rehabilitation, quality of life is often neglected. Evidence suggests that rehabilitation can reduce
the functional difficulties associated with ageing and improve quality of life.
This year’s conference is co-organized by leading Israeli and international healthcare institutions with the
objective of exposing participants to thought leaders and experts and allow local and global attendees to mix
and exchange knowledge and ideas.
As the leading event of Israel’s life sciences industry, MIXiii-BIOMED has positioned itself as the main annual
meeting place for both Israeli and international players. It presents a unique and exuberating occasion to
participate in discussions, panel presentations, product demonstrations and networking opportunities, all
paving the way for new business collaborations.
Our previous successful conferences hosted over 6,000 industry executives, scientists, doctors, engineers and
investors, including approximately 1,000 international participants from over 45 countries and more than
4,500 one-on-one meetings.
