The bio-tech industry has been identified as an economic growth engine for the city of Jerusalem, since the city has a relative advantage to this industry due to the presence of leading hospitals in its field, extensive academic research (due to proximity to the Hebrew University), industrial infrastructure and quality manpower.\u00a0These are reflected in the relative size of the bio-tech industry in the city and its market share of the city’s high-tech industry.<\/p>

6,000 participants from 50 countries will attend the Innovation Conference in the Life Sciences and Health, which opens a window to the fascinating new developments in the field.\u00a0Among the innovations: monitoring oxygen consumption in the body without mask, a device that helps people with visual impairments and a device suitable for custom medication<\/div>

Innovation in Health and Medicine\u00a0: Breakthrough developments and two quality of life are expected to be presented at a conference of start-up and life science companies from around the world, to be held next week in Tel Aviv.\u00a0<\/p>

6,000 participants from 50 countries and 1,000 participants will participate in the MIXiii-Biomed conference, which will include a huge exhibition of companies from the industry and a unique area sponsored by the Innovation Authority, which will present 45 Israeli start-ups, 15 companies a day, Life science.<\/p>

This year’s conference will expand the spectrum of health fields: from prevention to rehabilitation, including diagnosis, treatment and monitoring.<\/p>
