Italian government official and an Italian agriculture-industry delegation will attend “Agritech 2018,” a triennial gathering held in Israel comprising an exhibition and concurrent professional conference.
“#Agritech” is a trailblazing international event for the #agro-technology industry. This year’s exhibition will feature an array of Israeli companies specializing in fields including greenhouses, irrigation and water management, and precise agriculture. An exhibition highlight will be the #InnovationPavilion, which will specifically showcase the new technologies developed by Israeli startups within the country’s agricultural sector. “
The concurrent professional conference, focusing on arid and semi-arid farming, will draw speakers from across the Israeli and worldwide industrial spectrum who will address many of today’s pressing agriculture-related issues.
Israel is one of the world’s leading pioneers in today’s agro-technology industry. Its lack of natural resources, shortage of water, and the scarcity of arable land has led to it developing successful methods, technologies and products in a multitude of agricultural fields. The groundbreaking innovative nature of Israeli agriculture has enabled profound approaches and durable solutions to global challenges such as climate change, water deficiency, and desertification, areas in which Israeli established and start-up companies are making a difference around the world.
In addition to the Italian contingent, 40 agriculture ministers from various nations will be among the attendees at Agritech 2018. Thousands of decision-makers, experts, practitioners and trainers in agriculture also are expected to participate in the event.
