As part of the 20th Edition of Agritech Israel 2018 Conference and Exhibition, we offer custom-tailored Professional Agriculture Tours that are designed for international participants who wish to familiarize themselves with Israel’s leading cutting-edge industries.
International participants can choose to join one of the full-day professional agriculture tours organized on May 10, 2018. Participation in the tours will be available for a registration fee and will be based on a first-come, first-served basis. On-site registration for professional tours will be possible in Hall 1, based on availability.
The Professional Tours will be conducted in the English language. Names of the companies being visited are subject to change. A detailed itinerary will be posted closer to May 10th. Each company visit will last approximately 1.5 hours. The tour includes a bus, lunch and a professional guide. The tour will depart the Tel Aviv Convention Center at 8:00 and return at around 17:30.

The Aquaculture Farming tour will take a close look at the comprehensive integrated aquaculture solutions for the entire fish production cycle expertise. This tour provides the perfect opportunity to see a complete package from business development concept through system and production line engineering design and set-up, as well as operation and maintenance. A definite “must-see” experience for Aquaculture Farmers.
The Aquaculture Farming tour will visit the following companies: Green 2000, AquaMaof and Abundance.
The Precise Agriculture tour takes an in-depth look at farming management concept based on observing, measuring and responding to inter and intra-field variability in crops. The goals set here are to define a decision support system for whole farm management, in order to optimize returns on inputs, all while ensuring that resources are protected and preserved by utilizing technological capabilities such as, data collection and analysis, which can be displayed in a variety of devices: cellular, computer and all types of remote control and IoT.
The Precise Agriculture tour will visit the following companies: SupPlant, Netafim and Roots–Sustainable Agricultural Technologies Ltd.
The Irrigation & Fertilization tour will introduce you to leading global producers and providers of tailor-made irrigation solutions, all incorporating a wide range of cost-effective and customized technologies which are shared worldwide. There are many varied requirements when it comes to irrigation and fertilization. Learn about high quality solutions that deliver increased productivity per unit, which leads to higher crop yields, minimizes risks, and saves precious non-renewable resources. Drip irrigation in particular, was pioneered by an Israeli inventor.

The R&D Centers tour will give you the perfect opportunity to see first-hand the extraordinary resources and intelligence needed to ensure the future of the varied farming enterprises. Join us in exploring the research on a variety of topics and areas of special expertise such as:

• Irrigation using effluent and saline water

The Post Harvest, Dairy and Seed tour is a tour that will combine visits to companies from 3 diverse industries.
The Postharvest Treatment segment will focus on the handling stage of crop production immediately following harvest, including cooling, cleaning, sorting and packing, all aimed at maintaining the best quality at all times. Postharvest treatment is an integral part of the agricultural process and the beginning of another important journey to ensure the final produce remains healthy.
The Dairy Farming segment explores solutions for the establishment and management of dairy farming projects, including solutions for design, construction, installation and supervision. Learn about automated modular systems designed for intensive dairy farm management and fully integrated software that collects information about each animal and stores, analyzes and displays the data in easily accessible reports.
The Seeds segment examines research methods, plant breeding, seed production and processing of hybrid vegetable varieties. View first-hand the developments of new hybrids with novel traits of quality, taste, flavor, uniformity, high nutrition values, shelf life, combined with high yield, in an environmental friendly process. The hybrid varieties are suitable for the commercial outdoor or greenhouse growers.

Refund of registration fees will be as follows:
- Until and including March 28, 2018 – full refund less $35 USD for bank charges
- From March 29, 2018 until and including April 8, 2018 – 50% refund
- No refund on cancellations from April 9, 2018
