Exhibition Space Allocation

Exhibition space will be sold on a ‘first-come, first-served’ basis.

Set-Up Day

Sep 6, 2020     11:00 – 23:00**

Please note that set-up is not permitted on Sep 7, 2020 since the exhibition opens at 09:00.
On the day of set-up, trucks and heavy-duty vehicles may unload equipment at the designated area at the David InterContinental Hotel.

Dismantling Day

Sep 9, 2020     18:00 – 24:00

Booth Fascia

Exhibitors who purchase a basic construction stand are requested to indicate their company name (in English only) to place on the fascia board. The sign will include only the company’s name. Slogans are not permissible. A pre-assigned sole contractor will provide the fascia boards for the booths.
Submit your company name following the instructions below:

  • The sign will contain up to 9 letters per one meter
  • The lettering will be identical on all signs

Exhibitor Badges

All Exhibitors are required to wear badges displaying their company name for the duration of the Exhibition. Exhibitors are requested to collect their badges from the Exhibition Registration Desk on Monday, Sep 7, 2020, between 09:00 and 18:00.
Each Exhibitor is entitled to a fixed number of Exhibition Passes as follows:

Up to 9 sq.m :

  • 2 Exhibitor Passes
  • 2 Conference Passes

Up to 12 sq.m :

  • 3 Exhibitor Badges
  • 3 Conference Passes

Registration should be done via the dedicated registration file to be provided by the organizers upon request.


Organizers are responsible for third party insurance, as per the standard procedures at the exhibition. Exhibitors are advised to purchase insurance policies to insure their equipment from theft/damage, as well as third-party lawsuits during the exhibition.


General security is provided around the clock.

Noise Level in Booth

The use of loudspeakers and music in the Exhibition area is not allowed. Background music and promotional videos may be used, however please ensure that the noise level is kept to a minimum in order to facilitate the proper functioning of the business meeting and not to disturb other booths.

International Freight and Custom Services

Freight Forwarder 

The official Biomed freight agent is Hermes-Exhibitions. Hermes handles drop shipments; special projects, including chartering of aircraft and vessels; handling of art shipments; logistic solutions using political airway bill or bill of lading.

  • Transportation by road, air, ocean
  • Temporary and permanent customs clearance
  • On-site handling (forklift, cranes and labour)
  • Removal, storage and return of empty packing cases
  • Re-export formalities and warehouse storage
  • Exhibition freighting
  • On-site supervision

Parking Permits

We are pleased to advise that parking is arranged for the set-up/dismantle days, and the duration of the show for Biomed 2020 Exhibitors. Parking permits are allocated according to the space rented by exhibiting companies.  This service is provided to exhibitors at no extra charge. In addition to allocated permits, extra permits may be obtained at an additional fee.
Closer to the time of the event, the exhibiting company representative will be notified regarding exact details.

Public Relations

Companies promoting novel / innovative equipment / services that have in their possession publicity material regarding their product are requested to send the material directly to the public relations firm, please contact them by phone for further instructions.
