It is our honor and pleasure to invite you to participate in the 16th MIXiii-BIOMED 2017 Conference and Exhibition, to be held May 23-25, 2017 in Tel-Aviv, Israel.

This year, as we mark our 16th anniversary, we are excited to introduce a new format in which we will explore and aim to fuel the innovations and trends that are shaping the future of healthcare systems and life science. Networking is the name of the game. The new exciting format calls for an active participation by the conference’s attendees, which we believe will significantly enhance the value offered and the networking experience.

Aging is a central theme of the conference. However, in all discussed topics we will also include presentations addressing all patients’ populations, young and old.  We will study and discuss diseases affecting the elderly population such as chronic diseases, cancer, neuro-degenerative diseases, and diabetes. As we look at the future of our healthcare system, we would like to address ways to diagnose and treat elderly patients by utilizing new methods and innovations in precision medicine, genetics, personal diagnosis, treatment and monitoring with the ultimate goal of being preventive, if and when possible. Digital health can play a major role in addressing these fields. In addition, issues of cyber security are raised in association with the use of these new technologies. And, as we think of aged individuals, we cannot but think of robotics, regenerative and cell therapies. All these and more will be presented and discussed as our healthcare systems have become open to address the issues of aging populations.

This year’s conference is co-organized by leading international healthcare institutions with the objective of exposing industry participants to leaders and experts, allow local and global attendees to mix and exchange knowledge and ideas. Concurrently, as we aim to continue to increase the flow of investors in the Israeli biomed industry, we have added organizations whose sole “raison d’etre” is facilitating financial and joint venture interactions between Israeli and global healthcare players.

As the leading event of Israel’s life science industry, MIXiii-BIOMED has positioned itself throughout the years as the main annual meeting place for players of Israel’s healthcare industry with their colleagues from around the globe. Our previous successful conferences have hosted over 6,000 senior executives, scientists, and engineers, including approximately 1,000 participants from over 45 countries and in excess of 4,500 one-on-one meetings.
